Kristy Lynn Strate grew up in a small farm community where she spent her time exploring the wide open outdoors and working on her family farm. Although she lived the small country life, she always had big city dreams. From the time she was a young teenager, she was facinated by the fashion and media industries. For a short time, she experimented with acting and modeling, but found she prefered to be on the other side of the camera. She played with the ideas of fashion design and photography, but soon discovered it was makeup that truely inspired and motivated her. The art of makeup became her passion. That passion led to pursuing a career. She aquired the finest training from many professionals such as international makeup artist - Margaret Kimura, and photographer- Patricia De LaRosa. Kristy is now living and working in Los Angeles, fulfilling her dream as a distiguished makeup artist. Her upbeat personality and her love of fashion, art and design, add to her inspiration and skill for makeup- which leaves her a truely unique and talanted makeup artist.
